BACKGROUND
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Born in 1970 in Denmark, Scandinavia Niels grew up in a family with a lot of joyful music. He’s mother was a former party band pianist who loved to share
different music styles and challenges with the two kids.
Niels started formal piano teaching at the age of nine and continued in 10 years supplemented with teaching in electric organ, guitar and violin.
In the late eighties Niels started to study electronics and began experimenting with synthesizers, effects and tape based recording.
He graduaded as Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering in 1994 and started teaching music at different schools and musical bands. Between 1994 and
2013 his jobs were always a mix between teaching, technical development and humanitarian aid. The live band and recording skills were constantly developed
until he decided to make recording his career.
